The position

What you’ll do

Role: English Second-Language Teacher
Start: Late 2026
Schedule: Evenings & weekends, two consecutive weekdays off
Hours: 18–22 teaching hours per week
Students: Ages 3–12, classes of 4–6
Location: Huangpu District, Shanghai (near Lu Ban Rd Station)

Pay & benefits

What you’ll get

¥21k–26k net per month (≈ US $2.9k–3.6k)
Overtime typically ¥1.5k–2.5k — many teachers reach ¥30k+ a month
Monthly housing allowance ¥3.5k
2-month paid probation
Contract-end bonus ¥5k–15k
All Chinese public holidays, plus an extra week at Chinese New Year and two weeks in summer
Health insurance & full arrival support
